Sydney is hanging out its dirty laundry – and all our little secrets, confessions and private thoughts are lit up for everyone to see!
In a quirky take on this year’s Art & About Sydney theme ‘Private Lives … Public Places’, 30 illuminated bus shelter panels around Sydney – City Lights – will be transformed into a tell-all clothesline airing our secrets.
Sydneysiders are invited to get in on the act by sharing their secrets about Sydney on the Art & About website for a chance to win some great prizes. Whether it’s a guilty secret, your favourite secret eating spot, underground mojito bar, a hidden laneway, clandestine coffee spot or undiscovered fashion gem in Sydney, Art & About wants to hear about it!
The best secrets about Sydney submitted to the Art & About website will be displayed on a live, outdoor JC Decaux event panel in Pitt Street Mall from 17 September to 11 October.
“Our program for this year’s Art & About aims to reveal a lot about our city and its people and their stories others may not know,” said City of Sydney CEO, Monica Barone.
“We’re sure to uncover some interesting surprises! If you’ve got a secret about our city you’d like to share, then this is your chance to come clean.
Art & About Sydney runs from 20 September to 20 October 2013.
